New Dehli is the home of thousands of street and working children. To give them a save place for their earnings, the NGO "butterflies" (based in that city) initiated the first bank where those kids can deposit whatever they earned during the day. But that's not all what makes their project special: the bank is also run by street children themselves who get lessons in accounting and banking on top. By doing so "Butterflies"empowers street and working children to later run their own business.
Other than that "Butterflies" offers different projects in the field of education and capacity building. Many of them have already been replicated around the world.
